We highly recommend trial runs for weddings and major formal events. A trial allows you to test your chosen style, make adjustments, and feel confident about your look on the big day. It also helps us determine how much time we'll need and what products work best for your hair type.

For weddings and prom season (March-June), we recommend booking 2-3 months in advance. For other formal events, 3-4 weeks is usually sufficient. Popular dates like prom weekends and peak wedding season fill up quickly, so earlier is always better.

We recommend washing your hair the day before your appointment rather than the same day. Slightly "day-old" hair has more texture and grip, which helps formal styles hold better and last longer. Avoid using heavy conditioners or oils on the day before your appointment.

Most formal updos take 45-60 minutes, though more intricate styles with braiding or extensions may take longer. For wedding parties, we'll provide a detailed timeline during your trial to ensure everyone is ready on schedule. Plan to arrive with clean, dry hair unless otherwise discussed.

Absolutely! We use professional techniques and high-quality EVO products specifically designed to keep formal styles secure for 12+ hours. Your updo should last through ceremony, photos, dinner, dancing, and beyond. We'll also provide you with tips for any minor touch-ups if needed.

Bring photos of styles you love, your outfit or photos of it (especially the neckline), and any hair accessories you plan to wear (veils, combs, flowers, headbands). If you have extensions or hairpieces, bring those too. The more information we have, the better we can customize your look.
